2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
"Don't bag it until you've tried it" - Stuck by this rule, and it's done me well thought out this year.
A few goals for 2008 I completed:
Start the Insurance Certificate.
Learn Sign Language
Enter short story competitions
Walk to or from work a few days in the week - if not every day.
Got out more
Put constant money on credit card.
Things I didn't do In 2008 that I plan to do in 2009:
Get my Full Drivers Licence.
Do more writing – a little each week – at least!
Attempt to write story for Tom Fitzgibbon award
Have constant savings
And for 2009 - Prob just to live my life and enjoy it as much as possible...
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Lisa - Wee Little Emma was born!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, My Grandma. :-(
5. What countries did you visit?
Only good old New Zealand...(Crossed the Straight for the first time)
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008 ?
A better grip on my finances... Being more active... as in doing more outdoor pursuits...
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Winning my first trophy, 1st of August - when I shaved my hair off and the first Two weeks of December - many things happened those weeks: Got accepted to Uni, Grandma Died, Little Emma was born, and Handed in my resignation.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Coming Second in DWAS at South Island Champs, not looking back and having the gumption to shave my long locks off and Getting Accepted into Uni (actully taking the plunge to give up a constant wage to go seek my career)
9. What was your biggest failure?
Letting certain things get to me and dwelling on them, which made them worse then they were.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yeah, I passed out a few times, which wasn't very good....
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My little kids size 10 dress - which I fit!
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Lisa - For finally having the little girl that she's always wanted.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
You know who you are, but you're worse off... pitty for you.
14. Where did most of your money go?
On Flatting, Food expenses, Travelling & Ceroc!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Moving Out of the City! Lol, and Going down to Christchurch!

i. happier or sadder? - Happier, and more at peace with myself.

iii. richer or poorer? - Financially - richer, but not for long!

Written.

Stressing over events and people that were not worth it.

Nope, not even close!

Ghost Whisperer - I love the story lines, her clothes and the antique shop!
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Again, I don't use the word hate... only Pitty. Again, you know who you are.

Beyond the Veil - Pauline Grogan
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Kid Rock - I'm not usually into his music, but his new album is GREAT!
Oh, and Sayulee.... Great local talent there, she's going to make it big!
To try new things, and I did - I really did!

Taken - it was quite good actually! :)
28. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 23 this year, and I spent it down in Wanganui with M&M & AJ :-)
29.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Finding myself that little bit more...and growing because of the challenges of this year...

Unique, with a bit of lean towards vintage.

Chocolate! (Tim Tams Mostly)

The guy who played Roul in Phantom of the Opera - Mmmmm Yummy!!! (and what a singer!)
33. What political issue stirred you the most?
Not much actually, just the election was funny - did anyone else see the green devil horns on John Key?
34. Who did you miss?
Megan (and Mike occasionally, not as much cause I see him more) She's back in Wanganui, and so we're doing the keep in touch and visit thing. :-)

Heidi! She's such a cool cat character!

Sometimes it's best to be honest, not to tell white lies, or sweeten the blow. it's best if you are just frank.
