The Mission:
To Renovate and Decorate the Caravan into a 'Hip' new place to hang out...
Alright, when we moved up to the farm a caravan came in with the deal. Mum gave me the idea that we could do it up and use it as an extra place to hang out. So, 4 years later... I have come up with the idea that by new years eve 2005 I will (and hopefully with the help of my friends and family) have the hip new caravan up and running.
Here are a few pics on what the caravan looks like now (before the renovation)

I will up date as it will suit.
Any Ideas are welcome!
Step One...
Thursday September 15th 2005
Ok, on Wednesday the boys (Sam and Little Mike) Started on the caravan. Here are a few pics form what they got up to...
First thing they did was get rid of the closet...

Where the closet ended up...

The boys a 'work'... (I wasn't there when they actually did it, so they posed for me)

Step Two...
Wednesday September 21st 2005
Ok, actually it is more like one step forwards and two backwards on this project. Today the boys were pulling down the inside roof and they found that the 'leak' wasn't just a leak, it was so bad we had veins growing through the ceiling!

Here are a few pics, tomorow I'll be putting in the dehumidifier (if that's how you spell it?) to see if any of the moister can come out before the guys come up next.
We found the leak...
And Sam scored some new tires!
The mess that was left after the boys pulled the ceiling down... (and yes, they did clean up afterwards!)
Step Three...
Sunday October 2nd 2005
Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted on here in a long time, but I've been quite busy looking for work, doing the caravan and a computer course that I have to start from scratch just so I can learn power point!
(but all's good, I've been having fun...)
Ok, So today James came over and helped me with the Caravan. While I sanded, he tore out the top of the kitchen bench and the gas cooker.
I originally wanted the whole of the unit out, but James suggested keeping the framing so that's what I'm going to do and just put a new top on it to make it look nice and pretty!

Also, I have finally got the paint for it, however beggers can't be choosers, and it's free paint! here it is...

Step Four...
Thursday 13th October 2005
Ok, today we didn't do much, but we did end up going to Mitre 10 to get some plywood and we also went to a demo yard and got some free stuff! very kool!
When we got home, Little Mike ran through a mud puddle (he's like a little boy with gumboots and puddles) so he got the trailer and the contents in it all muddy...
20 Feb 2006
Due to mum and dad selling the caravan along with the house, I will be unable to complete this project. However, I will eventually be making a new caravan bar etc sometime in the future - I'll keep you posted on what is happening in this area...
